Key Information for Vendor Applicants
Thank you to all the farmers and food vendors who made the 2012 farmers market such a success. We will communicate with the 2012 vendors about the application process for the 2013 farmers market season and will also post this info here in April. Please check back then for the application and guidelines. We will look forward to receiving your vendor application then.

We have one of the busiest and most highly respected Farmers Markets in the region. Hundreds of people visit the market each Saturday during the summer on the Jackson Town Square. During the summer months, Jackson Hole has more than 3 million visitors pass by the Square. Typically, our vendors do very well in both exposure and sales. Rather than charge vendors a fixed fee, we ask that they donate 10% of gross proceeds from that day’s sales, which is donated to a local non-profit each week (selected through a highly competitive process).
Vendors may only sell farm fresh produce and other fresh food products. Our market is true to its tradition of providing farm fresh produce, fruits, home baked goods, fresh breads, locally-made cheese, locally-raised honey, locally-raised beef and pork, fresh eggs, fresh herbs, other speciality food items and wildflowers. Vendors are asked to commit to sell at all 12 markets of the summer and be fully set up and ready to greet shoppers at 8am sharp.
Many prospective vendors ask about whether they can sell from a trailer right on the square. Because of the character of our market, its location on Jackson Hole’s iconic Town Square, along with its immense popularity, all vendors are required to set up a table and vend from that table. Many vendors include a pop up canopy to spotlight their booth.
The thousands of local and long distance visitors that shop at the market love strolling from booth to booth. Therefore trailers and mobile food stands are not permitted. Vendors are more than welcome to transport goods by a trailer and then park trailers in the nearby Town parking lot.
The assignment of vendor spaces occurs at the beginning of each season, with many veteran vendors already having designated spaces. However, to keep the street wall and make sure there are no empty spaces around the Town Square, we implement a slide rule when necessary, which means you could slide slightly left or right depending on the situation. We ask our vendors to show up around 6:45 am to begin set up as our market opens promptly at 8:00am and runs until 12:00pm. However, many vendors arrive as early as 5:30am.
